Without words, that was the title of the graphic project at the Free University of Bolzano/Italy where backgroundtypography® was formed.

The type family was drawn based on a grid using same angles and dimensions to make all types and glyphs combinable among themselves.

backgroundtypography® is dedicated to all graphic designers and type enthousiasts. Because of its simplicity and the characteristics of standard fonts, backgroundtypography® is especially interesting and usefull to web designer and CSS sofware engineers. It can be easily embedded in HTML or PHP codes using then type as background design by varying or randomizing thousands of possible combinations.
